The era of magic dwindles, and former mages turn their attention to strange machines. Metalworking and crafting rule the day, even religion is on the wane. Philosophers proclaim that God is dead, and no one contradicts them. But the ancient powers are not finished yet, and rise up to claim dominion over the world before all the old ways are lost.
