I just started playing so have kind of a virgin view of this game. I like the depth of the tech tree and the numerous political options. Rome total war was my favorite strategy game but it didnt have the depth this game offers.

Artwork in general is really good. To me the GUI isnt all that bad now that Im kind of used to it. Great options in ship and weapons, almost unlimited. Love the ability to minimize the game to the task bar may not seem like much but I never had this before and really like that.

This is the first space strategy game I've tried that I actually really like and am having a great time playing and trying to learn the game. So what I like most is that im having a great time and playing gives my mind a break from the stress of the 4x game called real life.
