Yummy, more details please
It was early morning on the fields of Fairgrove. The army of Man was on the march to retake the control over the farmlands from the evil forces of Mictlan. There were defenders and archers of Man. Even a small group of Wardens had joined the ranks. In total, the army was made up of roughy 120 men and was lead by Bluebird, the Brilliant God, and legitimate ruler of this province.

On the other side of the battlefield stood the forces of Mictlan. There was a large group (around 100) of local militia troops - not really worth to mention, except for their strange, colorful costumes and the slings that they were carrying. About half of them fled after the first blast of arrows hit them from the archers.

But then there were the actual forces of Mictlan, that had just arrived from a conquoring raid to the north. They were lead by Rumbler, the prophet of Mictlan - a former scout and vicious character that would do everything to please his foul master. The troops contained around a group of foul spawns, ugly inbreeds originating from Mictlan experiments, 30 eagle warriors and 11 jaguar warriors.

Jaguar and eagle warrior are fanatic fighters for the cause of Mictlan rulership. The were immediately blessed by the prophet, giving them supernatural powers beyond the forces of men: increased attack and defense skills, flaming weapons, magic resistance, quickness and - most important - a twist in faith that will yield the first hit aginst them useless.

The eagle warrior, now blessed, directly approached the archers and slaughtered them. Every body kept on fireing against these warriors, archers with arrow, wardens and defenders used their crossbows. There were heavy losses on both sides.

Then the jaguar warriors clashed with the wardens. The wardens gave their best, but it is hard to fight an enemy that will transform into a beast once he is killed. Mictlan militias were trying to help the jaguar warriors, but actually did more damage in the own rankes through the inpricise aim of their slings.

In the end - after most Wardens were dead - the tide turned and the defenders started rushing forwards. The Mictlan army was retreating. A hard-earned victory for Man. Now it is time to bury the dead.
