Yes, SLI kills the framerate and introduces huge mouse lag.
I can play FEAR XP at 1920x1200 with almost everything set to high on my dual 7900 GTX's, but when I load SE5, I have to disable SLI, or else the mouse lag is terrible, almost uinplayable. With it disabled, though, it runs just fine at 1920x1200.
