Edit: I have had no problem with Miasma vs the AI. Your indy recruitment is indeed blown, but the hire anywhere blessed snakes kicks gluteus maximus.
Edit: As does the income boost for miasma.
Apparently this is bugged? I didn't notice but then again I doubt I would know either way. I was just never short of cash I guess.
