Hey guys! Martok's the name--although what gave a gamer nerd like myself the presumptive arrogance to name myself after a Klingon general, I can't imagine. (It's very possible I was drunk at the time!) I play mostly turn-based strategy games (Galactic Civilizations 2 and Medieval Total War being my two current favorites), along with the occasional RTS and RPG. I registerd here quite some time ago, but this is my first post.
I've been keeping half an eye on Dominions 3 for some time now, but it's only recently that the game has started to get my attention again. In my quest for a decent fantasy TBS game, I've tried a few of the more mainstream titles (AoW 1 & 2, Disciples 2, Warlords 4, etc.), but nothing has really satisfied my craving thus far.
I realize that I'm probably not going to get a completely unbiased opinion about the game on a forum dedicated to it (
), but I would still like to know if this is a title you guys would recommend. I'm going to check the demo, of course (I'm downloading it as I type this); but I would still appreciate your input just the same!
P.S. - If there's a specific thread in which I should be asking this question, please feel free to direct me to it! I just couldn't find any other place I should post this in the first 5-6 pages of looking.
