Received your test email (the one from hotmail) but nothing from gmail.
What do you mean by slow? When sending a file via hotmail, what happens is that the file is uploaded to the server and then delivered to all accounts. If you have a low upload bandwith it will be slow no matter you use hotmail or gmail (or any other method by that matter). But I suspect you know all this.
