Hello all. I'm Rob, 21, from the UK. I'm a part-time IT student and part-time photo enhancer/restorer, which at least helps me get used to spending hours staring at a computer screen.

I've been playing the dominions 2 demo sporadically for a long time now, partly beacause it is a game with scope for countless ways to play and partly because it runs on the non-gaming computer and I can pretend that I'm doing something constructive. and so I finally decided to get dominions 3 after being given some money by someone who didn't know any better and reading some decent reviews.

I got round to actually reading the manual, found out some of the embarrassingly stupid mistakes I've been making, and have fallen back in love with Ulm (MA this time, naturally). I've fixed my pretender choice and defensive niggles and have been up to 3am for the last few nights steamrolling my way over the majority of a particularly big random map and personally taking out a fair few rival pretenders along the way. I'm starting to feel the lack of decent magic, but the AI isn't as punishing as a human might be and I seem to be getting away with it so far. moo hoo ha ha.
