I agree that the combat sizes change and after about .80, they will not even dislay in the simulator- too big for it I guess. I was unable to discern any changes to a ship I built in the system display. What Values did you use? Never mind

Yes because the combat simulator ships did increase in size.

version 1.25-----Had some ideas when I was writing this.

Found the problem- Combat and combat simulator will scale the ship in the Ships_Xfileclasses.txt in Low, Medium,and High Graphic Detail in the Setup portion of the main screen.

System Display will only scale ships in High Graphic Detail. In Low and Medium it defaults apparently to .01.

I had originally changed it to medium when the game came out to help speed the game up by lowering the graphics and background detail. As patches addressed some of these concerns I never changed back to high graphic detail to see how the game ran.

Thanks for your help - it got me thinking and trying things out.
