Go to your Game Data\Sounds folder and open the Sounds.ini and ensure that the sound files it is pointing at are WAV
The next thing to check is ....did you turn the sound back on in preferences ? We asked you earlier to turn it all off as a test. Did you remember to turn it back on ?
When you play the converted WAV files with goldwave do they sound OK to you ??
