No. Protection from bad events is a special ability possessed to a varying degree by some monsters. The BF Ulm fortune tellers have a minor (exact percentage unknown) chance of preventing bad events in the province where they are, while Norna from Utg�rd Jotunheim have 15% and Great Seer of the Deeps has a 75% chance of preventing any given bad event in their current province.
