The eyes of the giants are hollow, and their faces grim. They drink bitter liquids to forget the fact they are less than the ones who came before. The winds of winter no longer blow, and the last son of lost Niefelheim has long since departed.
A standing stone is now the target of their worship, a monument to loss. It casts a shadow on them. Bestial wrath and resolve of blackest iron grips some, but they are a minority: most know in their hearts that the Rimtursar will never return, and the race of giants belongs to a world soon past.
They are eager to transmute their silent suffering to roaring anger and brutal violence. Fear them.
