Default Re: Printing maps

Well there's now a feature in Fred's WW2 Map editor that allows you to make full map screenshots (it works whit SPMBT too).

1.st: get the program here and unzip it to a directory somewhere on your hard drive.

(Fred Chlanda's home site whit info and other programs is located here: http://www.wargamer.com/Hosted/ChlandaWorkshop/ )

2.nd: Start it up and go to "Files" and "set SHP directory" to point into your SPMBT (or SPWW2) \Game Data\Graphics\ -directory. Note: You need to click on a random SHP file there for the program to understand. Then choose "Files" and "Load Map" to load your map.

3.rd: When your map is loaded and you see it on the editor screen choose "Files" and "Image Quality" set this to 20 or lower depending on how large your map is. If you set the image quality too high the program will crash to an error message so you may need to experiment whit this setting a little.

4.th: Choose "Files" and "Save Complete Image" to save the image of your map as a .jpg file on your hard drive. You can then rezise it and make it so that it fits the paper for printing.

Just as an example heres a sceenshot of a stock SPWW2 map no.41 (image quality set at 5 because higher values did not work for this map):
