The nation of Rlyeh, inspired in its zeal by the Oh So Magnanimous And Glorious Agon, has initiated a campaign to liberate the seas from land lubbers. This is a message to all land empires: Do not set foot in the seas, neither the western nor the eastern seas (the south seas, controlled by Oceania, and the inner lakes that dot the world do not concern us). If you do, we will drive you out of the sea and then chase you on land all the way to the place you call home.

This message is especially directed to Pythium that currently controls a major part of the eastern seas: If you retreat to land we *may* be lenient and not raid your provinces. This is *not* a promise or a bargain, just informing you that we are not interested in stepping into land and that we leave open the back door for you to leave and not suffer more losses. You very well know that we can reach both ends of your empire, and recent technology advances by our mages make it possible to extend the reach of our army deep into the inner lands. If you fight us on water, we will destroy you and raid you. You are waging wars with other land-dwellers, so if you do not want another war front, LEAVE the seas. NOW. We know you have coaxed some traitor Ichtyds and other sea races into your service. These are but a minority of malcontents that spit on their masters and scorn the liberty that was given them. As you have already witnessed, they are no match for our forces. So we repeat, leave the seas or face destruction.
