Well, the slightly smaller ship east of the third carrier is I think a CG (missile cruiser) perhaps like USS San Jacinto (
http://www.sanjacinto.navy.mil/ ), which seems to be the largest ship in many of the recent carrier strike groups assembled (also a couple of missile frigates (FFG) and several destroyers. I wonder if the bigger ships aren't some sort of maintenance ships... I'll keep looking...
