Re: Kind of wierd idea: Province defense buildings
In the past I thought about adding buildings with the #immobile tag as recruitable units in mods.
Some of the other ideas I came with beyond defensive structures were farms with supply bonuses, and magic gem producing mana nodes that could be placed on the field.
It seemed a bit awkward the more I thought about it because the nodes would have human names like "Forsete the Death Node" and people could cast gift of reason on farms to make them odd as well.
Your version of the idea would eliminate the naming issue because it would be for passive defense. I really like the way your talking about implementing it better than the way I was going to.
The graphics would be fairly easy to do as well. If you decide to mod this, let me know if you need any help along the way.
