I assume that everything else in the site-searching will be the same.
Can anyone verify?
It will exclude provinces that have been searched (to any level.) What about provinces being searched that turn? (Probably not.)

It will exclude capitals. (Actually it currently sometimes searches capitals and excludes other provinces for obscure reasons. Hopefully, now that all site searching can be done with monthly casting, it'll be easier to detect a pattern.)

It'll be interesting to see if some of the other weirdnesses , mostly involving taking or losing provinces, have been addressed.
