Hi, I am in the unfortunate position that my host changes from Linux to Windows. I'll be able to log in via Remote Desktop Connections, but that's about all. At the moment I am hosting my games in screen sessions, I guess that I will have to install something as a service so that I can do anything like it on Windows because otherwise it's going to get killed as soon as I log off the RDC? Could anybody elaborate how to host games with Windows remotely via the RDC?

It's really easy actually. Instead of logging off your RDP session simply disconnect by closing the window. The session will stay active and the next time you connect you'll be attached to it (provided you use the same credentials). If you ever want to connect to the console session via RDP for some reason use this command: mstsc /v

verip /console.
I manage my servers both at work and home via RDP so I'm pretty knowledgeable about it. If you have questions problem just post em here.
