I've heard that. Some programs that do well apparently get shut down because the beancounters believe the ratings aren't worth the cost of an epsiode. Wasn't that the problem with Firefly? Despite Joss Whedon being my cousin, sort of (didn't you ever wonder what the W stood for
),I only looked at one epsiode, which I liked because it had a giant Alliance battleship in it.
