Hey Axelent -- a little more good news.

I noticed that after I tested that work-around listed above, XP added a language button to my task bar, allowing me to click it, then either 'EN' or 'DE' to switch, making this very easy!

Hopefully XP gives you that option too, which should make the work around even easier.
