Presumably this was just to avoid breaking previous savegames - since BM 1.10 is intended to be an exception, perhaps the good Captain will consider an FQM update then?
One thing I would like to see is some alternate backgrounds (the Skybox files in Pictures\Stellar) - perhaps using the
Astronomy Picture of the Day shots as a starting point (
this one being quite spectacular). Certainly some non-black backgrounds for some systems (like those in Homeworld) would add welcome variety.
