I liked Jar-Jar too! And so did my kids, and so did my wife and my mom.

The only thing I did NOT like about SW Episode I was how most of Anakin's lines were stupid, e.g., "Hooray! I won!", "Yipee! I'm free!", "Oops!", "Let's try a roll. That's a good trick.", "Uh-oh."
And the space battle at the end was really lame, like it was comic relief or something.

I thought the kid actor did a decent job when he got something worthwhile to do, so I blame the writers. Real kids don't act the way they had Anakin acting.

Oh, and I didn't like the virgin birth either. Does Lucas think we're stupid?
