Pyro: Yes for Ermor and Marignon. I've played an Ermor game where I actually 'won' a province that way, and then tried to expand from there. (At the very least, turned a lot of people into ghouls.)
My brother the Marignon maniac had a similar experience (minus the ghoul production) in a game. (I must admit I've never seen this one myself.)
