Well, I have asked everyone I know about my problem, and nobody could help me. So, I thought I might try here.
I recently upgraded to Windows 2000. Everything is working fine (after downloading new drivers and all), except Microsoft Internet Explorer. Win2k installed Version 5.0 of IE. I want to upgrade to 6.0. So, I downloaded ie6setup.exe and ran it. I get this error message after it starts to install IE 6:
"The download location information is damage. Please clear your browser Cache and try again."
I have done so several times and it isn't working. Anybody know how to fix this? Or, does anybody know where I could download the entire Internet Explorer 6 install program (other than the 497 KB setup)?
Edit:
I also tried to upgrade to IE 5.5 instead, but I got the same error.
