I thought this was a bad rule. I don't see why pretenders should get extra magic paths.

I completely agree! Pretenders should not recieve +6 while other units only are allowed +3.
SC vs SC should be fighting with equal bonuses.
This arena match was bugged and invalid anyways since my SC battle result was different than the actual battle.
