Hope you all had a merry Christmas. Me, I decided that this was going to be the year that I wasn't berated by my overbearing uncle for drinking too much, so I abstained from all but a single cup of egg nog, and a glass of wine with my dinner.

Then I proceeded to devour far too much turkey, and an hour later was slumped, semi-conscious on the couch, being berated by my overbearing uncle for drinking too much. Apparently I managed a, "I wasn't drinking, it was the turkey, so [censored] off," before I zonked out completely. To which my father said into the sudden silence, "'Bout time someone said it."

Ah, the joys of family.
