The wars on the global screen seem to be tied to your local war screen; if you delete it on the local one, then it disappears from the global, which is why the three wars against me are no longer there.
As for the thread, if you want to start a new one, as long as the friendly neighborhood mods are ok with it, so am I. I only use this one because it's there, I use "backwards" threads so long threads are no problem, and this forum has a tradition of epic threads
