Re: Drama
Mully,
We are primarily interested not in a nebulous "greater good", but avoiding death from all of the carnivorous lizards who have plagued our northern provinces in recent months. If the lizards invade our lands and occupy our castles and farmlands, then we need to fight them or starve soon thereafter. If it's all just a misunderstanding, then great! But offering peace after your thugs have taken up squatting in our lucrative farmland and northern castle is the offer of slavery, and a slow death. We've seen how you treat your allies, and have little confidence in the trustworthiness of C'tis towards what it perceives as a weaker neighbor.
But even now, the long-suffering people of Tien are willing to compromise, and to let you prove your sincerity. We will overlook your mistaken attack if you withdraw our lands and castles immediately. If you want to you continue squatting on Tien's lands, however, my soldiers will fight to protect their homes.
