Coming to the topic a mite late (ok... very late), I'd like to address the original question.
Yes.
I don't play nearly as much as I used to, but SEIV is a game that I'll no doubt find a way to play now and then 50 years from now, with my (potential) grandchildren asking me "Grandpa, what the hell sort of primitive crap is that?"
