A penny saved is...pretty freaking useless, I mean, what costs a penny these days? a small ball of used belly button lint?

If you've found a good use for a penny in America, you've probably just thrown it at someone. And then they sue you.

If I was a young kid today and somebody gave me a penny, I'd key their car with it.

Note, for legal reasons: nothing I say is in any way a recommendation or endorsement of anything that might get me sued. I am not a sue-able entity.

It's pretty sad though, because pennys themselves are pretty cool, aside from being pretty much intrinsically useless.

They should change the monetary structure in this country so that we only use dollars and above for transactions, and then make pennies worth, like, 15$ each. It would practically erase poverty, and it would benefit the poor most, because rich people don't have a lot of pennies.
