Champions are 140 gold for 4 research. Sure they are sacred, but the only land nations that are worse in EA for no cheap researchers are Ulm, Fomoria, and the Heims.
Magic 1 is never a bad bet, but it was Magic-3 I thought inappropriate for Tir na nog.
