Run the game windowed, not full-screen.
1) Start the game.
2) If it hangs at "Waiting for game info", then do not close the window! Go back to step (1) and start another copy.
3) After starting 2 dead copies, your third running instance of the game should connect. If it didn't, you should not have gone to step (3)
, so go back to (1) and start another copy!
