Arco is as spiritual as ever, Tien Chi doesnt view death magic as something magic of rot and decay, to them its means of ancestral worship, Jomon is a proud human culture (cruel as hell, but still noble in their own way). Bogarus is full of contradictions (as it should be!), there's place for both freakish blood rituals and pure religions worship, noble Bogatyr etc. In Agartha, the dead walk peacefully amongs the living. Even Dark Forest Ulm, while downright hopeless, is inspired by some of the darker pages of human history, and may be redeemed later just as the real world survived the Dark Ages, Thirty Years War, witchhunts all over Europe etc, etc.
