Both the Computer Virus and the AS should have a direct counter. Hopefully not a totally effective counter.
Boarding Parties are countered by Crew and Security Sations. So why not counter AS with Political Officer Quarter (I,II, and III)? The Computer virus could be countered with Anti-virus, Firewall and Reboot.
