I'd be amused to see an Arkham Asylum site with an "enter to alter sanity" option, that actually modified sanity by something like

(d6 * d6) - 4d6

Beneficial on the whole (a tiny Monte Carlo sim suggested an average insanity reduction of ~1.7 pts), but you might see a penalty of as much as 32 pts or an improvement of 23 assuming non-open-ended die rolls.
