I have at least a few more turns left in me.
That explanation of darkvision makes sense to me but I haven't seen any penalty on units with 50 instead of 100, in this game or in other games. Maybe it's a bug.
My upkeep is tolerable, thank you. Soldiers would never desert who are fighting for the true god.
