OK, so my earlier attempt to make a Kingmaker pretender poll failed because I can't read a calendar.
I've gone through the effort of creating a new-and-improved poll here:

The purpose is to see which pretenders are popular given the unique setting of this game - 60 nations, all eras.
I'd like to emphasize that the results are COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS. But if you're still uncomfortable submitting your pretender selection, there are ambiguous choices available (e.g. 'I chose a Titan pretender...')
Please fill it in! It should be interesting to see what the discerning Dom3 players are choosing these days.
