Where do you keep hearing that? I don't think anyone has said that in this thread. It certainly isn't true. You have to extract the necessary files from an archive, usually a zip or rar.

It's because one of the first few posts you said "okay now I have 3 files that (don't do anything), so I tried extracting"..... That's why you heard "don't do that".
You already had them out of the .zip at that point.....
