You're not stupid, it took me a while too trying to understand this.
In the FAQ,
click the "Can I use html in my posts?", sixth voice from the bottom (sestultima voce)
Inside that voice, sixth from the top (dopo aver cliccato sulla voce, il modo x postare i link è il sesto dall'alto
)
