Dom3 random maps are generated in rgb format. What is the problem?
No I would not have recommended the rar format to compress the file, but it is a fairly common format and if somebody is having problems figuring out how to extract the file I am sure that they will ask for help or request that someone upload it in a different format.
(For anyone who cares, I personally would prefer
not to have a bloated pdf file included with a map download when a text file would suffice.
