Yes, I know about consensus that Death scale allows to make strong SC or big bless and then go to early offensive. But this latter never materialized. He just sat tight. Maybe he wanted to research something, but bless strategy isn't particularly research-oriented afaik... And he had Tien Chi and Caelum as neighbors, both of which have easier time researching... And currently Vanheim also has excellent research.
