I didn't make the hypermaze, so I don't know.
I just downloaded the map file I posted, and it works for me under Gold patch 1.
One thing for sure is that AIs will be totally confused due to the plethora of warppoints.
When I posted it, I commented that it was for Humans only.
In fact, even your ship captain AIs will be confused when given large-scale orders.
All of the orders you give them must be line-of-sight orders.
Everything they are told to do must be inside the system that they will be in.
You cannot tell a ship in starsystem A to attack a ship in starsystem B. Your captain will be unable to decide wich warppoints to use to get to starsystem B.
Instead order the ship to
"move to coordinates (0,6) in System A,
Warp,
Seek after ship S"
