The name of the werewolf shamen, "Kurtadam" means werewolf in Turkish.
Not to mention its description is quite Turkic in describing cultural meaning of a werewolf.
My Ukrainian teacher was very surprised when she learned our culture considers the wolf as a good,sacred and valiant animal. She said they see it as evil.
