One is reminded of the children's tale of the great king of Irack, and how he boasted to his people of victory even as the enemy's iron dragons rumbled down the streets of his city."

I wonder what the Council thinks now that Ruin took a hand in the combat himself starting 2 turns ago and leaving over 100 dead on the battlefield, and countless more maimed and diseased. And now LA Arcos. Elephants have stormed forth from their castles to trample crossbowman, mage, and pike alike.

Ruin unleashes new terrors on his enemies this turn. As Ruin said when this invasion was launched, it is not who lands the first blow, but who wins the war of attrition. Ruin has gauged well what LA marignon can throw at us, and finds it lacking.
