I'll save my introductions for when I meet people in-game, and probably stick to in-game messages unless people prefer something different. If I'm making a proclamation to the world I'll post it here though, so we have a permanent record of it. I can see that some negotiations may require IM of some sort, does everyone have and know how to use IRC? I'd rather not turn on my IM client as then a billion people will want to talk to me
