HP Delron. I have voiced those idea's before.
Also that Space combat takes place over the entire system where everything comes into play and it is all tatical.
But the problem is that no-one has the time for that.
It took me a while to figure out that the current system works.
I would still like more control over space combat and I am hoping for it. I think Scripts would be the answer. So you can create Battle scripts. Ie... Create the script in the simulator. Save it and add it as a tatical combat script for that fleet ( Or something like that)
If you want to do a spin off. Have the people fight out ground combat in a TA style game.
And homeworld for space battles
