Re: State of the game?
Tinnitus has many possible causes. For many people its too many loud concerts when they were young, or working around loud things like airplanes.
In my case, I spent too much time in computer rooms and such. It affected both by vision and my hearing. My tinnitus is more from deprivation than excess. My ears fill in the gaps in my hearing range with white noise. I needed to expand both my eyesight (get into the sun more, look to distances, try to read street signs, etc) and I had to expand my hearing such as listening to fairly loud sounds for an hour a day. Not to irritate the neighbors with my stereo I went the MP3 player and headphones route. Now Im hooked and dont know what I did without it. Without MP3's chores are just chores, now they are aerobics (dancing thru my chores).
