You have few days for nation selection [as there are 6 people that need to team up anyway], so yes, you will see final map with garrisons before making final nation choices. Mapmaking has proven to be much more challenging than I originally thought
But they will be the same as the ones on WoG, just moved a bit [and they may have added commanders with supply items and maybe some weak S mages to prevent mind hunting them out].
