If Monoliths could have ghosts (and said Monolithic ghost was not forced to, ahem, 'please' an Arcoscephalean Sibyl or a C'tissian Sauromancer through some deal with Death and/or the Astral Powers That Be), the Monolithic god of MA Ulm would probably reply to Arcoscephale by saying, "I didn't have a Lab to alchemize gems to teleport out, though believe me did I want to."
If Monoliths could have ghosts.
Also, Monny sadly
almost killed a Bane Lord, which would have made his proverbial day that much brighter before Death or the Astral Powers That Be came to take him (it?) away and apply various painful ways of posthumously convincing Monny attacking a nation twice his size with many times his research level (and connections to various beings with power over spirits and spiritual being) was a textbook Bad Idea(tm). Unfortunately, he aimed a spell badly and, though it killed some enemy units, did not kill the right ones. Then he (it?) just sort of fell unconscious and died. That's the story of Ulm right there, it
almost won everything. Sure, most of the wars it survived (except the Arco one obviously), but Ulm never made any significant gains.
Better luck next time, eh?

Let's see if I can do better as MA R'lyeh or something (not that I'd choose MA R'lyeh, I'd probably do another weak race, maybe take EA R'lyeh again).
