Every year, hundreds of unsuspecting citizens adopt stray jaguars. Every year, hundreds of citizens die because of it. Contrary to their portrayal in the popular media, jaguars do NOT make good pets.
* they are NOT cute and cuddly; they cannot be declawed, spayed, or neutered
* over 70% of them are rabid
* they WILL turn on you, no matter how much cat food you give them
So when your little goblin asks if they can take home that scraggly jaguar you see in the alley, just say no! Go home, get your bow, and put it out of its misery. Together, we can ensure that today's future becomes tomorrow's present for the bakemono youth.
